How to use it
- Set the areas once. Rename the three area columns to where bottles actually live: speed rail, back bar, the service bar, the cage. Keep them in the order you walk.
- Write the bottles in shelf order, left to right, the way they sit. The sheet should follow the shelf, not the alphabet, or you'll spend the count hunting for rows.
- Count full bottles as whole numbers and open ones in tenths. 2.4 is two sealed and one at four tenths. The tenths chart turns that into ounces.
- Add across for Total. That's what you have. Compare it to Par and write the difference in Order.
- Keep every sheet. Last week's total is this week's start count, which is what variance needs.
The download is an Excel file: it opens in Excel, Google Sheets (File, then Import) and Numbers. The Total column in the download adds up the areas for you.
